What trouble are you having with audio do you look inside the mixer settings

With PS2 & PS3 😳 I highly doubt it will go back that for for those consoles unless PlayStation has backwards compatibility in the PS5 or PS4 and Premium PlayStation Plus subscription but for the actual console yeah I doubt that because those consoles didn’t have hdmi

@@MariShields25 what version of Streamlabs and OBS are you on! Cause I just checked mine with my PS5 and everything pops on just fine, You should have Streamlabs version 1.16.7 Then Elgato device utility should be 1.3.0.629

@@CraytonTv So I changed it to 5 Gbps instead of 10 Gpbs and it started working. Something is going on between Mac and Elgato not cooperating.

Yeah the website has been updated to Logitech so I would search it on Google then you can find it and on pc you will see the download from the website

Thanks much appreciate it, yeah I wish they would of done more updates but Astro stopped with controllers and only focus on headsets and other stuff they definitely should of done a version 2 for this controller I have even called them and ask but they said no works right now so guess they gave up on it for now which sucks

thanks appreciate it, which MacBook do you have? You got Intel or M1 and up processor MacBook? And on the PS5 did you disable HDCP from the settings and with the Elgato device utility make sure that’s on the latest version and check to see if the capture card need a update ? Also what streaming software are you using? Then the setup for the capture card - make sure from the console you plug the HDMI cable to the Neo HDMI in port and from your monitor that HDMI Cable to the HDMI out port

If you are using a Mac make sure you uncheck that box in the Elgato capture device utility for HDR tone mapping and that should fix that, and glad you got it hooked up

@@CraytonTv sorry for all the questions ahhh I’m technology challenged. It says that I’m up to date but it still looks the same. I tried deleting and reinstalling and still the same thing

Awesome 👏🏽 make sure your devices are updated to the latest software and make sure OBS is updated also, and if you use Mac again, then make sure you got the latest version of the Elgato device utility updated also so you can update the 4K X capture card

@@CraytonTv - I did updates about a week ago, and it exacerbated the problem to making the iPad function not work. I was able to get it back to operational. There’s something about the scene that won’t get my feed to reflect in OBS. I’ll try again to see if there’s another update. I don’t stream, but it will be nice to use my interface to get some “live” commentary through my interface. Thanks for the help. I’ll try that again for sure.

@@CraytonTv - Okay. I was able to confirm that I'm on the latest software/firmware for all devices. Turns out that there is a known issue with M1 Macs and newer if you're trying to make the Capture Utility recognize the 4k X as a 10 Gbps device. I was able to get it working under 5Gbps device, but once I switch it in the utility, OBS forces the 4k X to not be recognized until I restart my computer. I'm going to try Streamlabs instead.

I checked the website don’t seem like they sell them anymore but on Amazon just search Astro C40 thumbstick module replacement and it will pop up! Since the controller is so old I think Astro stopped working with it

Connect the gamedac to the computer download Steelseries GG software , make a account then hit update the headset and it will update and give you all the new presets for console

@CraytonTv is there a way to add the newest ones it keeps the same one it came with I seen they added multiversus but I couldn't find the add on using the steelseries software

@@mrschwifty6 it should be rolling out soon for the gamedac - but I got to check and see how you add other preset normally people just go to custom and create same as the game they are playing but I’ll definitely double check today

Hello, and with the iPad you would need a usb hub dongle connected to the iPad so you can add more features - which I am working on a video on using an iPad only and the Elgato Capture app and one with Streamlabs Mobile

Oh easy, make sure you download Elgato Device Utility off Elgato website, then connect the 4K X to the Mac with the cable provided once it’s connected to the device utility update the 4K X capture then you are able to use it for Xbox or PlayStation on OBS or Streamlabs or etc

@@RalphZamaro yeah I had that same issue - did you update the 4K X capture card with the Elgato Device utility cause that was my issue once I did that and restarted my PS5 it turned right on

The Neo is great! I didn’t have no audio issues only thing is there is no analog audio so if you want to listen to audio you have to listen to it through the computer over HDMI .. now the HD60 X is great too but I bought the 4K X instead but they both are good for budget streaming purposes

Yeah, download Steelseries GG software on the computer plug the gamedac to the computer then make a account and hit update

You can just connect it with hdmi to your monitor and you should be good to go

Get the Game Capture Neo better for the long run, the HD60S+ yeah it’s cool but starting to be outdated and only options are ; Elgato 4K X, Elgato HD60 X, and Game Capture Neo I have both 4K X and Neo that both are solid devices if you pick the Neo keep in mind there is no analog audio port which means you gotta listen to your audio over the computer , but the HD60 X and 4K X are great too

Oh this capture card is smooth, there is no delay that I had, if so it’s like bare minimum like 1 or 2ms but other that everything else is solid and it’s quick and smooth you will be much better with this capture card then the HD60, I would recommend this 4K X or Elgato Game Capture Neo either one is solid

Do you have the latest version of the Elgato capture device utility the new version is 1.3 or 1.4 then it will pop up! And then you can hit update on the capture card

Make sure DHCP is off on the ps5 system settings

I have multiple charging station but the one I use is a PS5 Dualsense wireless charging station.

The Neo works on Mac with OBS, Streamlabs, StreamYard, QuickTime and many more but if you mean the old Elgato Game Capture HD cause Elgato don’t even use that no more. But Neo does work on a Mac 💻 just fine

I enjoy both, I use them both all the time cause for different reasons, but next month scuf gaming is dropping a mobile controller made for iPhones that has back paddles so I will be getting that and doing a review comparison on it vs the the backbone and portal . But the portal is good for PS5 games and stuff the backbone is fire also to do other games that support controller

Well the Astro C40 Controller will not work on PS5 to play PS5 games only works with PS4 games only! Now to pair the dongle with the PS5 plug it into the front of the PS5 press the button on the dongle and on the controller put the controller into pairing by pressing the PS button and share button but if you are looking to play PS5 games with it yeah won’t work cause Sony patched it and did tons of software updates.. So your best option is to buy the PS5 Dualsense Edge Pro Controller which is $200 😬

Yeah that is fix, I use mine daily and never have no issues with the earbuds disconnecting and I played for hours until the portal and earbuds was about to die before I got off.

You can adjust them on the software and they sync over to the gamedac so you can use on console

Thanks I had to ask steelseries because I wasn't sure I guess sonar is only really for PC no spatial audio and immersion and performance options for a console only wats on the dac and engine software

@undreiscool ok awesome the engine does do a lot but if you got PC you can unlock more features but me I only got MacOS and sonar not available for Mac so I just make the best of it still a good headset

Did you turn down your volume! And whatever streaming software you are using look at your audio mixer to make sure your chat link cable and headset is pulling audio and the meters are jumping.

No you don’t need it, you can use the Elgato chat link cable I just choose to use a two mic setup
